We Can Work It Out

Ok, so yesterday was the first day In My Life (there we go again ^^) I successfully baked something without my mum.

I was at a friend's house yesterday and we actually wanted to bake something from like each country, she from Russia and I'm drop Germany. Unfortunately it was Good Friday and like nothing was open except for the dairy. So we couldn't make the Russian food my friend planned to make and I thought we could not make my food (Rohrnudeln for anyone of you who happens to speak Bavarian hahah) either but I was wrong, we were in actuality able to make mine. So, I looked up the recipe online and found a really nice German website that had the full recipe, relatively simple explained. Even I understood it hahaha. So, now my friend Alycia and I had to find the ingredients which we did not at first because we were at her boyfriend's house hahah. After having found all the ingredients we could start eventually. So now it was mixing some of it together, putting it next to the fireplace to keep it warm, mixing the rest together and kneading it, putting it next to the fireplace again, rolling it to small balls and putting it into the baking form and then, who would have thought that, putting it back next to the fireplace again hahaha. Well, after doing that for almost two and half hours we finally put it in the oven for like another 45 minutes. When it was finished Alycia and I put it out of the oven and it actually smelled like sooo nice but we couldn't eat it quite yet because, well, it came directly out of the oven therefore it was still really hot. As we were waiting for it to cool down we just started watching a movie, I think it was 'Happy Gilmore' with Adam Sandler. When it's cooled down we started eating and it was sooo delicious omg. We had eight pieces in total so each of us only got two but those two were just perfect. Well, that was my first real attempt and it worked out really well, I was so happy :3

     These are the beautiful Rohrnudeln.

I'm gonna watch a German TV programme now and finish my post.
